This is very good for chilling with your pet. You could probably use this every day if you wanted to, but it doesn't contain big beans like Peruvian beans or anything like that. They are mostly small beans like lentils. But when you need to take a break with your parrot, or in my case my eclectus, this works great. I used to try to take frozen bean mix with me, but sometimes I went somewhere that I couldn't reheat my mix or refrigerate it. This is great because all you have to do is take the amount of formula you want to feed, put it in a cup, pour boiling water over it and let it sit for 15 minutes and you're done ! You can add any fresh fruit or frozen fruit you like and your bird will get its protein. I really like it and I'm sure I have a lot of this stuff on hand. Especially for birds like eclectus and other birds that only eat birdseed and nuts not well. The main ingredients I see are: small strips of dried coconut, dried banana, a few nuts here and there, lots of small beans like lentils. Beans, dried fruit and some pasta here and there and dried peas. There are more ingredients listed, but this is what I see most often.
