This raincoat is very well tailored. I especially like the mascara straps that wrap around the back legs to keep them in place. It never slips; and if you follow behind, you can enjoy the "Happy Tushie" brag of your dog happily trotting down the street during a pleasant walk in the rain! I liked it so much I bought one for her best friend so they can wear the same raincoats on a walk. However, both received small tears, but not in places violating the structural integrity of the clothing. However, this does not cover the legs. But I doubt my dog would put up with wearing clothes that look like pants. The velcro strap can be a little more comfortable depending on the size of the dog, it fits my 50 lb mini retriever and her best friend the 56 lb labradoodle.
