It works but the design could be slightly improved

Does it fit your RV's drain to the water hose? Yes. Is he doing it right? Nearly. The screw-on part to the van should be deeper. As flat as it is, it's hard to get more than 1-2 turns out of the camper. The lack of turns means there is no such thing as a perfect connection; Leaks are to be expected. A simple 0.25" to 0.50" deepening of the threaded portion solves this problem.
