Review on Motorad 439 180 Thermostat by Kenneth Cotton

If you own a Land Rover Discovery 2, 4.0 or 4.6 this thermostat is a must. This will drop your temperature by at least 10 degrees, and with a soft spring, it means you won't get a temperature spike when you stop and walk. Easy installation without modifications. The Motorad version is much more reliable than the first Brit. Since I originally posted this I had one that let me down and also installed 2 on other cars that were faulty. They're much better than a standard thermostat when working properly, but save some extra money and buy a genuine gray 180 thermostat from a reputable Land Rover parts supplier.
