Bought as a Christmas present for my 2 year old who is currently obsessed with vehicles of all kinds (fire engines are a definite favourite). He was very excited and liked to point out different trucks/cars/etc. down when it was time for bed. I was initially quite disappointed with the sheets. It is clear that they are not very high quality (VERY thin) and look a bit crumpled out of the box. After washing/drying, however, they are much better/softer. I don't know, except that they survive many wash cycles without wear. The duvet is VERY light which is comfortable for us as my son's room is the warmest in our house. If your home gets a little chilly at night and you're expecting warm winter bedding, then you need to look further. Probably perfect for the summer though. I have similar concerns about durability, but it seems a little more durable than bed sheets. It fits my son's mattress perfectly. If you have a crib that converts to a crib, it will likely fit (always check your measurements!). But if you have one of those very thick mattresses, the sheet pockets probably won't go deep enough. Overall, this set is suitable for my purposes and the quality corresponds to the price. I don't expect to have these sheets for many more years, but they are perfect for what will surely be a passing fantasy. They won't last forever, and neither will my son's obsession with trucks. He's loving it at the moment so all I can ask is that!
