I have bought several of these devices over the last few years and this W9 is another great addition to my collection. I have W4, W6 and now W9. The W9 is slightly larger than the W4 and W6, but that's only because it's a PTZ. I have found that wherever I would install it instead of W4 or W6 it still fits and works perfectly. This device has an SD card slot. (128GB). You also have the option of using the Wansview cloud service. Right now I only use the SD card option and it works really well for me. It's currently in a high traffic area with a 64GB card and I'm getting 25 days worth of recordings. Not that bad in my opinion. There are several new features in PTZ that really impressed me. It's not just PTZ, you can have preset views so you don't always have to use the little joystick in the app to look around when you want to. (See attached selection). I've also found that the image quality doesn't distort or blur when the camera is in motion. Not bad for a cheap camera. I hope they add automatic tracking when it comes to people and other movements soon. Another great feature of the Wansview range is the camera's WiFi range. My farthest camera is just over 105 feet from the nearest access point and I have no connection issues. My neighbor has one about 10 feet from me, one on his own network, and his works fine too. I was worried that being so close would cause one or both of us to have problems and that there might be dropouts or dropouts when using two different Wi-Fis. It's not like that at all! Another thing I love about the Wansview line of products is the app and the features they have been developing over the past few months. The app now has 2FA and fingerprint works with the app. They also added 4 camera grid views. At the moment I have 3 different grid settings that I can view at any time. The app has also come a long way since my first camera. I'm not saying the app was bad, but the ease of use is amazing! I set my parents up with some devices and apps and they love it! This camera would be a great addition to any collection!
