I started crocheting two months ago and recently joined an online crochet group. I was asked what my favorite hook is and I realized I have no idea what that thing is lol. I googled "what to look for in crochet hooks" and this Clover crochet hook was recommended by several reviewers. I just got it last night and haven't stopped knitting since I got it. I'm shocked at the difference my stitch makes - one reviewer mentioned that this hook will help you sew better and I didn't realize it until I started using the hook. First, the crochet hook is a lot lighter than the ones I've used before, which I didn't realize was a problem, but I can crochet longer until my wrist gets tired. Also, I hold the hook like a pencil (not like a screwdriver) and the grip on this hook feels natural and comfortable. Bought a second hook when I bought this one and plan on returning it as the handle on this hook is too small for me, better for a child or an adult with small hands. The really important feature is the head of the hook. The pointed tip makes tight stitches MUCH easier than my current hook. And then the hook part has a good grip on the yarn so that the yarn stays on the hook when you finish the yarn over/pull. This feature combined with great feel and light weight will allow you to crochet for hours, at least for me. And I like that my stitches are more even because I don't fight with stitches anymore and I don't do loose stitches anymore, which allows me to get into a crochet rhythm now. I highly recommend this hook, I'll check if it's included in the set and if not I'll buy it again in other sizes if I need them.
