I have a 7 month old labrador puppy. She trains well and becomes a member of our family. We will be isolating it in segments of our home for now, one of which will have access to the home office. She recently started throwing out the trash can in the office when no one was looking. She is rarely left unattended, so the opportunist in her takes over. This type of behavior is difficult to correct unless you catch them in the act, which I couldn't. On the first day with the carpet, she attacked the trash can as I left the area and ran out of the office like a guilty kid caught in the act. I think their days of attacking garbage cans are numbered.
