I actually have 2 cheap LED Flashlights(Sofirn Q8, SUPERNIGHT) that are slightly brighter flood at a 3rd of the cost. Major differences is both have a large hotspot and taper for flood. The olight is a wall of light! As a searchlight incredible distance and clean hotspot. The features, floodlight/spotlight switch, RGB for specific uses, smart control dial. The main feature I like is the safety feature. Being able to swith off and throw it into a pack without worrying if it will accidentally turn on is a relief. The other flashlights I mentioned would be unscrewed or loosened at handle and head everytime for like a physical lockout. Oh yeah, having one flashlight for flood and spot is the best!
