It's not hard at all!: Trailer Accessories
This updated design is a far cry from the old twist lock that has plagued boaters for years. My broken 40 year old Twisty was ready to go anyway. I found the cable connections were in bad shape. You won't know how much better a smart socket is until you try it. Installation is fairly easy; The hardest part was threading the large 30 amp cable through the new rubber strain relief. Use lots of soap!
