Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Yakamoz Woodworking T-Slot Cutters: Enhancing Precision and Versatility by Richard Payne

Revainrating 4 out of 5

REVISED MY ORIGINAL REVIEW

This is a terrible product. Used it on two frame cuts and it burned the wood and club. Would definitely not recommend buying. Rather spend a little more money and buy quality parts. Didn't even bother asking for a refund for only $11. The effort was not worth it. THIS IS A CONTINUATION OF THE ABOVE REVIEW: After I posted my review, the company contacted me and offered a refund or replacement. They asked me to give the product another try as they are a small business and rely on word of mouth. I agreed. I have found that the bits do NOT meet MY needs. HOWEVER, after some re-testing, I believe these bits are acceptable and will work under the right conditions. I have found that the router bit is NOT large enough to make a deep enough cut in a thick piece of wood for a heavy suspension. (I make a lot of wooden products that are quite heavy and attach to the wall). But for a smaller piece that requires a shallower depth of cut, the cutting edges are good. The plunge cutter is good too and went well with my very tough hardwood project. See my photo for depth of cut measurements. The specifications list bit widths of 1/2" and 3/8" but no slot cutter lengths. I am changing my review from 1 star to 4 stars. It would be five, but then again it's not enough for what I do.
