Review on πŸ”² Ozeri Touch Waterproof Digital Kitchen Scale - Small, Black: Washable & Submersible for Easy Cleaning by Brooke Black

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like it but it eats batteries.

I love this scale and would buy it again. It's truly waterproof (although I haven't tried it underwater). I wash it off all the time and it's never had a problem with water. The only thing I would like to improve is the battery life. I've been using this scale about 2-3 times a day for pretty much exactly 3 months now and have replaced the batteries 3 times. I wasn't too surprised when the batteries supplied by the manufacturer died after a month or so, but I'm surprised it still takes batteries every month or so. That's about every 100 uses (I usually weigh more than one item per use, for a baking project or portion weighing). The good news is that it uses AAA batteries, not button batteries which cost a fortune (I think I was looking for a scale that was waterproof and didn't use button cells!). Again, I would buy this scale COMPLETELY. again, but longer battery life would be great. Both for the wallet and for the environment.
