Review on Pet Gear Signature Carrier 20 Pounds by Julie Youngbear

We bought the large blue carrier because it was the only padded item that was stated to carry a 20 lb cat. At the same time, we also ordered a small one from another manufacturer for our little tomcat. They arrived at the same time and we installed them. We immediately realized that this carrier is a much better product. We sent back the smaller carrier and received another one of these. We first used them about a month ago during a visit to the vet. I love that there are 3 ways to get the cats in and out (front, back and top). The front opening is large and it was a lot easier to deal with than a metal door that banged around like it used to. The bottom was strong enough to support a large cat without sagging. Both the vet and her assistant said the carriers were good and asked where we got them from. When we got home I was able to remove the soiled floor pad (poor thing) and machine wash it. Both straps were then folded and hidden. Much better than the plastic media we use!
