I don't use it for travel so I can't comment on that. I specifically wanted splitters where all outlets are individually isolated. My ideal would be one where you could isolate the USB partition, but I couldn't find such a device. I have absolutely no complaints about it as I bought it with a full understanding of its capabilities. However, isolating the USB would also make it ideal as it's in my garage and I have different things charged at different times and want to be able to turn off anything not in use.
