Review on International Version Canon EOS 60D 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens Kit by Takahara Hideo ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

I was tormented by choosing between 7D and 60D for almost a year. As a result, I decided that the advantages of the seven are not worth the 20k difference, and I think I did the right thing! Owned a 450d carcass for 4 years. The difference is huge! progress from soap to 450, and from 450 to 60! the tokina 16-50 f/2.8 lens literally came to life. photos come out sharp juicy, very satisfied. the front focus disappeared somewhere (toly autofocus in 60d is better if something was corrected in the algorithms for working with the lens, but the fact is obvious) ISO 1600 really working at 450, even ISO 800 was already annoying, but here I put up even with some photos taken at ISO 5000 The ergonomics of the buttons (except for those that are recorded in the minuses) is beyond praise! ring + joystick inside - I personally found it very convenient I can't say anything about the video until I get used to it . In general, if you choose between 7d and 60d, then the difference is only in ergonomics IMHO. It's not a pity to give +20k for convenience and moral satisfaction from owning a top crop, then take 7d. Otherwise, 60d is in no way inferior.

Pros
  • case quality, size, weight and even controls are all very convenient * rotary screen very high photo quality (after 450d) shutter sound) external flash control
Cons
  • * wildly inconvenient location of the delete button (every time I suffer to reach out) stupid - unnecessary button on the shooting mode selector (all other buttons are great) video mode turns on long after the photo (you need to scroll the whole wheel)
