Review on Honeywell Ceiling Fans 50690-01 Bonterra: Sleek 52-Inch Matte Black Fan for Effortless Cooling by Ken Wilson

I installed this fan in the master bedroom to replace an old running fan. It moves a lot of air. in the room and it was easy enough to install (especially if this isn't your first fan install). Basically remove the stars behind a glass ball that needs to pass over the bulbs. There is nothing to isolate the vibration from it (metal directly on the glass) and when the fan is running there is a high pitched hum that creates the vibration (think a finger on a glass but a lower tone). I tried putting a stick on a felt pad to stop the vibration but I think it still went through the pages. In any case, this means that we have to keep the crystal ball switched off. Looks ok in the bedroom but if it were in a more prominent spot I'd be more upset.
