I bought this glowing ribbon for my son and he loves it. The light strip is very easy to set up and the instructions are simple. Just decide design, connect components, drag and rotate! The model I purchased comes with two fully customizable light strips totaling 32.8 feet (16.4 + 16.4). In the end we only needed one strip for his bunk bed, but we're sending another to frame his Captain America poster. I am very impressed with the brightness of the LEDs and the ease of installing the glue roller. We actually found it easier to unroll the entire coil and work from the end to make sure it fits perfectly and installed it in less than 5 minutes. The light bar comes with plastic hooks that can be attached to the wall or other non-adhesive places (raw wood etc) but we didn't need them for the treated wood bunk bed. The remote and receiver are a really nice touch and the child can keep the remote on the bedside table for quick access. The back of the receiver comes pre-installed with tape and we just taped it to the side of the bedpost! The dimmer is a very nice feature and while we'll rarely use the various lighting and music functions in this piece, it was great fun exploring the different modes and effects and seeing the lights flicker at a certain pace. The different color options are great for ambience and we mainly used yellow (for reading at night) and blue (as a night light). But we used green for the tent city and red for the lowest lighting throughout the film. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and will likely purchase more in the future. The biggest selling points are the simplicity of the features, the easy setup and the excellent value for money. Happy Kiddo is pretty cool too!
