I was surprised at how heavy it seems. Thick metal, well finished edges. I haven't had a single problem with the shelving of any items. Considering the price and the somewhat generic brand, I was concerned about portability. With a decent battery UPS, I'm pretty damn close to the advertised weight limit. Despite this, there are no signs of deformation or tension. My only complaint is that I wish there were more mounting options for the crossbar. Specifically, it's designed to only fit one way - it bolts from the inside (from the equipment side of the rack). That means if you want to move that bar, you'll have to remove all of the hardware as well. All in all a great purchase.
