Review on 🔒 Purolator Premium Spin On Oil Filter for Engine Protection L14459 by Joe Michels

Purolator has changed their filter line and the PureONE filter line is no longer used. Purolator PureONE used to be their top tier filter, but now Purolator One (note the slight name change) is a mid-range product and a new line called Purolator Boss is a top tier product. Part numbers from the old PureONE range have been appended to the new One range, but they are not the same filters. The non-slip outer coating, which used to make it easier to put on, is no longer used in the new version; You have to buy the boss version (almost double the price) to get it now. Without cutting up one of these and comparing it to the old PureONE, I can't give specifics on how the design and materials of the internal filter differ, but just looking at the hole and it's obvious that the materials aren't are the same as before. Maybe even better now, maybe worse, but definitely different.
