Compact, inexpensive and powerful. Surprisingly big box.

When I got a new cabinet for my living room, I found that my trusty Music Hall a25.2 amp didn't fit on a shelf. Not wanting to drill holes in my new enclosure, I looked for something smaller that could still drive my Acoustic Energy Aegis EVO One speakers. My god, this device fits! Not only is it *much* smaller than I expected (about the size of a portable SSD), but it's also built very solidly and packs a real punch! Even halfway it's more than loud enough for my space. These are 8 ohm 100 watt speakers and I can tell Fosi can probably ruin the cones if I push them all the way out. The Bluetooth signal is quiet and reliable (make sure your antenna is tight if you hear any noise). It connects instantly and doesn't fall out even if I'm a few rooms away. The only thing I'm having trouble with is connecting my spades (these are Analysis Plus Clear Oval cables). The unit is so compact that it was quite difficult to position the connection plates so that they didn't touch each other, the power cable, the RCA connectors or the antenna. I eventually found a suitable configuration with some cables running down the bottom and others down the sides, but any pressure on the box could dislodge the cable. Banana plugs or bare wires would probably be easier to wrestle with. I would, without much incentive, wholeheartedly recommend ordering this box if you need a small, powerful, quality amplifier for your small to medium-sized speakers. This thing is impressive and definitely good value.
