Review on Enhance Your Home Safety with Element-Hz Power Series In-Wall Surge Protector & Dual Outlet – 1080 Joules by Herb Guevara

It's on, but is it working? I hope never to find out

Bought in July '19 but I only recently installed it in September '20. I did NOT read the instructions prior to installation, but I am an electrician by trade. Note that for wall box installation, the back cover/housing must be removed. It's only two screws and they come loose instantly, it might have been in the instructions but I'll never know. It will only fit in a modern plastic remake/old working two-speed box. I say this because if you plan to use metal jewelry boxes, they may not be suitable. As we already know, RCD sockets and many dimmer switches hardly fit into metal housings. Also, there are little to no adjustments for alignment, as this is both a device and a wall plate your box needs to be perfectly aligned for this to look good. Otherwise I get electricity from the socket, the TV works and the light is on. Does it protect against overvoltage? Rschunimagu. I have no idea and I don't know how to test it. From what I understand it's a fancy outlet with little blue LEDs saying it's a surge protector. I hope it works and my TV keeps working.
