I bought this stick for a simple unobtrusive video server application. The slim profile was a selling point. I knew this would cause problems when the Android platform took 4 hours to format and a speed warning came up. Needless to say, things weren't going well. I ran a speed test and found that while I was able to get stable read speeds in excess of 120MB/s, write speeds could freeze entirely at 0MB/s for a few seconds, with occasional intermittent spikes of up to 70MB/s. , barely reaches an average of 12MB/s. I'm returning it and looking for a better alternative. My favorite Sandisk that I carry in my bag delivers over 80MB/s write speed and 250MB/s read speed with no jitter. I have a similar one in the same video app with no issues.
