My podiatrist recommended this shoe for heel pain. Online review sites agreed that this is a good shoe for taller people. The lining is thick. I find when I wear shoes they fit my foot better. Until then, I'll be wearing the same plantar fasciitis insoles that I wear in other shoes. IMPORTANT: This shoe runs half a size smaller. Go to the ASICS website and locate the Find Your Fit page.
