Shoe design hasn't improved

Shoes arrived quickly and in excellent condition. I went down to a size 9. I usually wear 8.5 inch sneakers. you are narrow The finger box is no wider than the last edge. I am so disappointed in ASICS. They used to be my favorite shoe but now they are tight and cramp my toes. Will return.

Pros
  • Cloth sole
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Toe box too tight, best for road running

I usually like ASICS for step aerobics but my balls go numb from wearing them. I have a narrow foot so a narrow forefoot is usually not a problem for me. Either my legs were getting worse or the quality of ASICS was getting worse. It just seems like shoes haven't provided the same level of support as usual in recent years.

Pros
  • Heel Lock System Technology - Exoskeleton heel counter provides improved support and creates improved heel lock.
Cons
  • Faulty

Not wider in the toe area and less cushioning overall.

Boots returned. Every year I hope Asics bring back the old design but every year I am disappointed. Not only are they still tight to the toes, they no longer have the cushioning that made the Asics Nimbus so soft. I will continue to look for a replacement brand and style.

Pros
  • FlyteFoam Propel Technology - An energizing foam formula from ASICS that offers excellent bounce thanks to its unique elastomer blend.
Cons
  • Low Serviceability

Far my typical size, perfect for me

My third halo. I usually wear a size 7.5 but I knew the width would be better. The silver-grey Asics Nimbus 21 in size 7.5 Wide offers plenty of toe freedom. The durable hard white sole is removable and feels softer when replaced with my old black Asics foam sole. The regular 7.5 I tried at the hardware store was definitely narrow and my toe was touching the front. Zappos Revain was the only place I could find Silver Wide and Mid Gray with two day delivery.

Pros
  • Plus 3 midsole technology - 3mm extra height on women's models helps reduce stress on the Achilles tendon.
Cons
  • I don't have much aversion to it, everything is fine

It's like walking on a cookie. Works little.

My podiatrist recommended this shoe for heel pain. Online review sites agreed that this is a good shoe for taller people. The lining is thick. I find when I wear shoes they fit my foot better. Until then, I'll be wearing the same plantar fasciitis insoles that I wear in other shoes. IMPORTANT: This shoe runs half a size smaller. Go to the ASICS website and locate the Find Your Fit page. Enter your shoe brand and size to find out which ASICS size fits you best. These shoes were $10 off here atโ€ฆ

Significant reduction in quality.

I've been wearing Gel Nimbus since I was 17, I bought two pairs from 17 to 20 and found that by the time I was 21 the quality had dropped so much that I had to find new shoes. The 20's were the wrong size so I was skeptical about the 21's but decided to give them a try as I've had so much luck in the past. The first thing that struck me is that they are rock hard! I've worn the Nimbus for years due to knee and hip issues and have found the Nimbus to be the most cushioned shoe I know of. I haveโ€ฆ
