Review on Kitory Utility Knife, 5 Inch Fine-Edge Kitchen Knife, Sharp German High Carbon Stainless Steel, Full Tang Pakkawood Handle With Gift Box - Metadrop Series by Matt Pavelko

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good knife for smaller hands.

I like this knife for the 5 inch blade. It is a size I have not had before. Most of my knives are big chef knives or little pairing knives. I used it tonight to make quick work of some scallions. Nice and sharp out of the box. It occurs to me that the handle is smaller than my other knives so it might be comfortable for smaller hands. Not, like your five year old, but maybe somebody that has hands smaller than mine. Still a useful knife and I would recommend it.

Pros
  • The blade's sturdy construction makes it ideal for use in a commercial kitchen
Cons
  • The blade can be difficult to re-sharpen due to its hardness
