So two things with hooks are great. The one with the rod - no. The bar comes loose every time you try to put something on it. I even tried closing the hooks but there is still too much wiggle room for it to fall off. Also, when hanging, there is not enough space between the stick and the wall to hang the earrings, although you can keep the stick from falling. I ended up dropping the bar and just using two hooks. I wish they would sell them separately so you don't have to buy something you don't need or can't use.
