As a member of the itty-bitty nipple committee, I bought this in the hopes of bettering both my output and increasing comfort during pumping sessions. In my haggard, frustrated, and pain-induced state from endless pumping with inappropriately sized flanges for my apparently tiny nipples, I hurried to Best Buy and picked what I thought would be my salvation and the cure for my woes only to be completely devastated when these arrived and discovered they do not come apart to fit my Medela Freestyle breast pump system. In my desperation, I even went as far as sawing the flange piece from the rest in the hopes that maybe I could insert it and it would fit. Let me tell you, it does not, and these little things are sturdy! Props to you Maymom for great construction.Despite all this, I give it a 5-stars. For someone who pays more attention and is purchasing these for an the appropriate system, these will probably be a huge help! They came super fast, are very sturdy, strong, and can take quite the beating from whatever you might throw at it. From what I can tell, they should work quite well. Most importantly, the flanges do look like they would work on my wee nipples. if only they worked for my pump.Now that I've discovered my error, I'm off to purchase a different adapter that WILL be appropriate for my Medela Freestyle.
