I've had my bamboo rollers for 5 months now. I like to use it to clean most household surfaces such as kitchen countertops, tables and bathroom surfaces. I still buy paper towels when I eat. It hasn't replaced paper towels for me, but it has replaced the amount of paper towels I use. Instead of using paper towels to wipe down the kitchen counter, I use bamboo sticks and clean up any mess. The great thing about bamboo compared to rags is that it doesn't stink! Bamboo does not mold and is bacteria-free. This can only be determined by the smell. You can use it several times, wash with soap and water, and then let it air dry at the sink. I hang mine under the sink. After 1 week of use I throw it in the laundry bin. I wash in hot water with bleach and detergent. I don't put it in the dryer. When you do this, it shrinks drastically. Instead, I let them air dry. Stretch them while they are still wet. Then after he tries I roll them back onto the roll that came with the kit. I put the whole roll under the sink. I've spent noticeably less on paper towels. I love this product so much! 5 months later I'm still using it. Attached is a photo of how I store it on a roll. I know several people have complained about memory problems. This works for me. All of this is stowed away and can be easily rolled up when needed.
