I bought these to extend the factory Sirius/XM antenna in a 2014 truss. The standard antenna ended behind the driver's rear side panel. I installed a dual aftermarket Kenwood DVD/NAVIGATION system with an optional satellite radio tuner. The Kenwood satellite tuner (SXV200) only had enough lead to be installed in the front of the car. To keep the finished rig clean and not having a second antenna I bought this for one of my clients and it worked great. The cable is actually not as thick as the Terk brand ones in the Sirius/XM markets. Also, Terk extensions start at about 50 feet and it only took me about 12 feet or so. If you need to extend your home or car antenna, this item is perfect for you. This also works on old-school Sirius or XM devices. The only exception that I know of is very old Pioneer units that actually have 2 antenna sockets, otherwise the purchase is money well spent.
