While the phone mount is sturdy and well-built, it lacks comfortable articulation. The arm has only one joint, meaning it's impossible to tilt your shoulder towards you and still see the screen. This is problematic when your cup holders are next to the dash, like mine. When I tilt my upper arm away from the dashboard, the screen either faces down or away from me, which is utterly useless. I can't take it away from me because it hits the dashboard. So I have to keep it completely straight, which kinda defeats the purpose of joints. :(A hinge next to the phone would make a great mount. As it stands it's useless. I'll find something else to use.
