This mesh system definitely has more coverage than my old ASUS RT-AC87U router (3 level house, 3300 sq ft) ), but the speeds are about the same as my old router. I have a 400x20 internet connection, but most of the time I get around 40-60Mbps. About once a week I have to reboot the router and node because it goes down. Hope the firmware updates fix the problem. It drops devices like iPhones, iPads, and even an Asus laptop even if it's just a few feet from a router or host. For now I've set it to automatically restart a couple of times a week to see if that fixes the problem. I checked and I have the latest firmware. ** Updated 3/16/21. After the last firmware update (firmware version: 3.0.0.4.386_41793) the AiMesh signal from the main router to the node is now shown as weak. I've tried resetting it and even a node in the same room within 10ft of each other but it's still showing weakness. **Update 03/17/21: I have contacted Asus tech support and asked me to provide them with a list of items including the syslog. and other configurations made me perform a series of troubleshooting steps such as z or offer a solution.
