I switched from a manual scanner to this one, assuming the VIN is auto-detected. This worked fine for my BMW but on my 2007 Benz the C230 didn't find the VIN and when prompted to enter the VIN manually it couldn't find it either. I called tech support and the main answer was that the car is not supported. The question is how many others are not supported. I would like to add that if you enter this car manually by asking questions, it will work! B. 203.054 etc. This number is not obvious to you, so you have to spend time exploring the network, which I didn't like.
