Not worth it in diagnostic test and measurement tools

So I'm in Jamaica, September 15th was my brother's birthday so I decided to give him this for his birthday because he vikeale is sitting in a motorcycle and have been ordering the product since August 27 and I received it today. Sick! Fast but no printer!

I've tried many high and low end scanners but this one caught my eye. At around 500 I think the printer must have been on as you absolutely cannot print unless you email it to someone or yourself. Also the printer costs an additional $175. I mean really, this is crazy crazy. So why do I have 4 stars? I must say a very friendly user. Nothing to complain about other than the printer, but it's fast and accurate. I love that I can buy the coding section but heck I don't have a printer but oh well…

Vehicle specific software not loaded. Cost $49 per year per machine Annual subscription

Machine specific software was not downloaded when I received the unit. You have to pay $49 for each automotive software you want to download. Then you have to pay $49 again every year for each car you want. Bidirectional software capability is more expensive. I'm assuming it's also an annual subscription. The hardware is good. It would be nice if you could charge the client for downloads. But for personal use, it is not very economical. I sent it back and bought a used Genisys Eco 5.0 Update…

Advertised bi-directional scanner

Like: Speed seems ok. The graphics are nice and clear. Dislikes: The [English version] instructions in both the manual and the tool are terrible, very unclear, and have poor grammar. I was unable to turn off the TPMS gauge for my truck or relearn the throttle. When you return to the menu you will need to select your car again and reconnect to Bluetooth. This is very annoying. Not impressed. Suitable for diagnostic, test and measurement equipment

Free updates for life. Maybe it's just me, but I'm not sure what makes this tool free for life, what doesn't BlueDriver do? The device makes a high-quality impression on the surface and in the advertising. It didn't work for me when I tried to scroll and select a little further down the list when instead I would select the item you touched while scrolling. It will also charge over 90%. Doesn't always auto-detect VIN's

I switched from a manual scanner to this one, assuming the VIN is auto-detected. This worked fine for my BMW but on my 2007 Benz the C230 didn't find the VIN and when prompted to enter the VIN manually it couldn't find it either. I called tech support and the main answer was that the car is not supported. The question is how many others are not supported. I would like to add that if you enter this car manually by asking questions, it will work! B. 203.054 etc. This number is not obvious to you,

I can't say I dislike anything about this analyzer! It comes in a very nice case that fits the instrument perfectly.
