I've used this for so many different things, it worked great on my concrete counters, I also updated an old wooden jewelry cabinet, I used this over black paint and it really brought out the color and made it shine and easy too made to dust. I'm repainting a wall shelf, did the same thing. I used it for the wood I painted for the back of the bar. Even after sealing the floor it never looked right. I tested it on a plot about 2 weeks ago to see if it would help and you can see the difference in my drawing. This is a great product. I've been looking for something to use on my homemade concrete countertops for about eight months. I've sealed my countertops with the product but it wasn't enough, everything I found seemed extremely expensive. I was about to put up with it and buy a Chens product and stumbled upon Daddy Vans. The reviews look good, the price was great so I figured why not. I decided to test my countertop area with this before making my entire 8 foot island. The product was very easy to apply, I just dabbed a little onto a polishing cloth and wiped the countertop area. I polished it a bit (by hand) to make sure it applied evenly. The process was very easy, I kept putting it off hearing stories about having to keep cleaning/polishing and repeating over and over again. I was very happy with the application process. It also looks like a small jar will be on the way. I think I can do two countertops around the sink along with the island and still have some left over (I'll update my process when I go). I am very impressed with the look of my countertops that I have applied. Papa Wang, I wouldn't say it's super shiny, but it has a nice sheen. I find if I wanted a more real shine I could apply another coat. I'm also impressed that it keeps water out of the concrete in a small area, or I was, as concrete is very porous. I wouldn't normally write a review until I'm done, I'll keep updating when I've finished my countertops. I wanted to try and help others who might have been in the same situation as I was looking for something to finish their concrete countertops.
