In the interests of full disclosure, I received this about half an hour ago and completed my activation less than fifteen minutes ago. However, I am leaving a five star review here as it is a huge improvement over the Arris modem provided by TWC. Today. Previously, the absolute top speed I've seen was 17Mbps with fairly high latency and a packet loss rate of around 0.5%. Video streaming, as you can imagine, has been a challenge, as has working from home. TWC didn't help much other than their suggestion to reset the Arris modem every few days and I've lived with that to this day. Just exchanging the modem for this made a noticeable impression. I'm seeing speeds of 25Mbps Down/3Mbps Down, the latency is close to LAN, no dropped packets and I'm streaming 1080p as smooth as you want it to be. If I had realized the problem was with the old modem I would have bought it a few months ago. As it stands now, it pays for itself in less than a year since I don't pay the modem rental.
