I have 3-4 places in the house that use these custom sized bulbs. Display cases, picture accent lamps, etc. And when one goes out, it looks like the local hardware stores are either sold out or out of stock. A box of 6 makes spares convenient and gives you time to reorder. In addition, these lamps last longer than advertised. I usually run my lights on a timer, but some of them I use 24 hours a day and while you might think they wear out quickly, they don't. I have ordered this several times and will continue to do so.
