Overall, I am happy with this "shacket”. It is very well made, and the fabric is soft and sturdy. The shacket is nice and warm (for California weather) and the length of it is very flattering. I’m 5’9” and normally prefer a 12-14 or large shirt. I ordered an extra-large because I like to have room to wear a sweater or thicker shirt under my jackets. Also, I prefer a longer sleeve. I tried this shacket on with a lightweight sweater and the jacket feels a little snug across the back and chest. The pockets are better suited for looks or carrying small items. The placement of the pockets higher up on the side seams of the jacket causes the jacket to pull too tight across the mid and lower back and the pockets themselves are too shallow, making it necessary to keep your arms at an uncomfortable angle. Placing the pockets farther down on the seam and enlarging the pocket would be more comfortable and look more natural. I’ve had this same problem with other clothing designed overseas. So, I’ll wear the jacket with thinner tops and blouses and keep a pair of the gloves in the pocket if the weather warrants it.
