I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.
My spouse and I each got our own pillow, and we're both quite happy with them. Because the neck is in the proper position when sleeping, it does not tire out. You can stop beating it like a feather; it'll get back into shape in no time. I used a pillowcase from the set, but the cover is removable and washable. A feather pillow just won't cut it after trying this one.
