The characteristics of the fan are not identical to those of the original fans.
idle speed (and, accordingly, noise) is much higher. and fast at those intervals, making the computer noisy. I'll try some 0.40A fans I've found elsewhere and see how they compare. So far I have found a solution to an original fan that started to fail and makes less noise than this new fan. :/
