This is a simple kit but it contains everything you need to free and charge your car's air conditioning at home. I was overhauling my system so it was exposed to air for a long time so I had to remove all moisture and air from the lines before I could prime it with R-134a. I created a vacuum in my system using the included high and low pressure lines with their nozzles and let the pump run overnight. Be sure to fill the pump with the supplied oil before you start it. Using the supplied manifold gauge I was then able to verify that the vacuum was still in my system after turning the pump off by leaving it on for an hour or two and seeing that the vacuum pressure reading on neither dial changed. I then disconnected the pump and used a can nozzle to pierce my system and fill it with coolant I bought separately. Everything was very easy and with this kit I was able to do it myself instead of paying $100 at the store. An easy procedure for a home mechanic, just watch a YouTube video or two.
