Ordered two plates to connect cable wires between projector and home theater AV receiver. At first everything worked fine. After two months, I noticed that many tiny red dots appeared on the left side of the screen after the theater was turned on and running for 20-30 minutes. The problem may not appear every time the system is turned on, but the frequency of its occurrence has increased over time. Those red dots were driving me crazy and I figured they might be caused by the HDMI cables being used. I then swapped out all the cables and even borrowed another AVR to try and still got red dots from time to time. After weeks of frustration, I finally discovered that the annoying red dots were being caused by the HDMI boards, so I removed them all from the wall. Since then I have never seen those red dots on the screen again.
