As far as I can tell the hardware is fine but I've noticed regular and occasional relay clicks when connected to my Schiit Bifrost 2 when music is playing (middle lane) and when nothing is. play. The clicking noises when nothing is playing are a bit annoying - I hear them in my living room for no reason, but when they happen while listening to music it means a momentary music pause which is VERY ANNOYING. Anyway, long story short, the fault seems to be in the HifiberryOS, not the board (tried two boards). As soon as I switched to RoPieee, the problem went away. Also, RoPieee supports USB audio, so I don't even need this board to connect to my Bifrost 2. So yes. Assuming you don't need an optical/coax output, I would suggest saving your $$$ and just downloading RoPieee for your RasPi!
