We purchased these stools for our kitchen island. They look just as they do in the picture, and we are very happy with them. Assembly was very straightforward with the necessary tool (Allen wrench) provided and the directions were easy to follow. Took 10 min per stool to assemble. One issue: we bought two, and when they arrived one had all the components required for assembly. The other one was packed with two cushions instead of one cushion and one swivel mechanism, so it couldn't be assembled. I contacted Revain and they immediately shipped a second stool which arrived with the correct pieces, so no harm done. They are comfortable, the seating surface is a durable material which wipes clean easily, and the swivel mechanism works smoothly. I would buy them again in a heartbeat if I had it do over again.
