Return my money! Disgusting product and poor quality.

Sound. He is like a battery - an old stump, only unlike the first one, he also smokes all his life, so he wheezes and coughs, especially when something is inserted into the laptop ports, such as charging or a USB flash drive. Ergonomics. The idea to implement a tablet with such a display is great, no kidding! There is only one thing that makes this tablet absolutely useless - its weight. Holding a two-kilogram tablet in your hands is not at all comfortable. This wonderful laptop also has three excellent diodes, or rather two at the charging cable and one at the laptop itself, all three work when the laptop is connected to the network, while illuminating the apartment at night no worse than the sun on a clear day. Pre-installed Windows 10. There were problems with localization - English was selected by default, but texts in 2022 slipped in some places, including on reboot, shutdown screens, etc. The functionality of browsers to capture sound and video on sites also did not work the likes of Skype. Com and on Skype. Com itself. After reinstalling Windows from a clean slate, the problem was solved, but at the same time, while downloading and installing all the drivers, the laptop managed to die several times, showing the blue screen of death, after installing all the drivers, the problem was no longer reproduced. Screen. It's great, period, and it doesn't matter that some programs don't support this resolution, and sometimes you have to change this resolution in the settings right in the process of working, or add something like -enablehighdpi to launch shortcuts. Total. Pros: The screen, SSD is also not bad, but it doesn't really stand out from the competition. Cons: Battery, keyboard, touchpad, coating around keyboard and touchpad, sound, power button, build quality, ergonomics, pre-installed operating system. Now I want only one thing - to change this junk for something of high quality. And I would also like to return my 160,000+ that I paid for it.

Pros
  • The main and perhaps the only advantage of this laptop is the screen. I bought this car for work, and after 8 months of use I was completely disappointed in it. The first call to which it was worth paying special attention, but I did not, and in vain, is the curvature of the case. Joyfully unpacking my new laptop and putting it on the table, I found that the left near edge of the laptop does not fit the table, when you press it with your finger and release it, the laptop sways. It's okay, I thought, some half a millimeter, it doesn't matter! We go further - the inclusion process. The power button performs two functions - actually as a power button and as a fingerprint scanner. And it does a poor job of both. Sometimes, to turn on the laptop, you have to press the button several times, it simply does not turn on at once. The fingerprint scanner is an even bigger problem, sometimes when you try to log in, putting your finger on the scanner does not cause any response at all, and even though you crack, until you enter a password or pin code, the system will not be logged in. Sometimes after such situations, it is impossible to re-login to the system until you enter your fingerprint data into the system again, and sometimes it is enough to reboot the system for the scanner to work as it should. Battery. Even after the purchase, he did not differ in particular survivability, and now, after 8 months of use, he fell ill like an old stump, and will probably die soon. In the code editor mode, the laptop lives for 4 hours, and this is with the power saving mode turned on! Immediately after the purchase, it lasted about 5-6 hours, no more, and with intensive use, no more than 3 hours. It is also perhaps worth mentioning the four operating modes configured through the Dell Power Manager: optimization, cooling, silence and ultra performance.
Cons
  • Of all four, only one can really be used - ultra performance, since when using the other three, performance problems begin, namely, a problem known as throttling occurs, externally manifests itself as constant fading of the operating system for 0.5-1 second, it is extremely unpleasant to work in this mode . The keyboard is a masterpiece! I have never seen this before. With absolutely careful use for 7 months. Attention! Drumroll! Left Shift key cracked in half! Is this how you ask? Surely I'm such a dumbass and hit something on her, with a fist or something else! ? This question also tormented me for about a month - it took exactly that much time for a small, almost imperceptible "scratch" on the key to turn into a split. When the "scratch" appeared, I thought long and hard - where could I put it? ! And the scratch grew and grew, increasing in length. And after a couple of weeks, one shift key turned into two pieces of a shift key. The service center naturally sent me! Well, nooo . not where we usually send, but for a new keyboard, at my expense, of course. And while they are asking the manufacturer how much the new keyboard costs (and they have been doing this for more than two weeks), another scratch appeared on one of the halves of the Shift key, and it is also slowly growing, so we are waiting for our Shift family soon replenishment . Also, after several months of use, there were problems with the response, sometimes you have to press the keys several times - they do not work the first time. Touchpad. His problem is that he sometimes stops responding to pressing on the right side of it, well, like sometimes, constantly . Cover around the keyboard. Well, here, unlike the parts already described, Dell engineers coped with their task 100%, or even 200%. We set ourselves the task of designing a coating that would collect traces from absolutely any touch, and we did it! Well done!
