Instead of backing up my data, I clone only C drive. I bought Wavlink to clone my drive offline because Acronis stopped working. Cloning my 1TB Sata 6 hard drive to a 1TB Sata 3 hard drive took about 2 hours and 15 minutes. When I booted from the clone drive, Windows 10 Pro complained that something was wrong, fixed it, and then stopped booting. Later I cloned my C drive to a 1TB SATA 6 drive, which was a bit faster, 1 hour 50 minutes. When I booted up with this clone I got the same problem as before. something wrong, win10 fixed it and completed the download. So while this works, Wavlink is doing something wrong, at least as far as Win10 is concerned. The disk must have a protected area that Win10 can also access. I leave the device, it works, for my needs the price is excellent. I also cloned an old XP drive and it worked without any problems.
