I'm not 100% sure how many miles I ridden in these shoes before the upper eyelet on one shoe snapped and tried to snap on the other (see photo), but it can't have been more than 100. It's pretty bad compared to how many hits my Saucony Freedom ISOs have covered hundreds of miles without a whimper, and definitely unacceptable as a running shoe. This is particularly disappointing as otherwise I like the profile and overall performance of the shoe. I realize it's a few years too late for this review to tell potential buyers, but Saucony really missed the mark. DO NOT BUY if you come across any of these and expect some serious trail running.
