Ok so long time Husky owner. I have one male that has long hair. Twice a year he goes through this massive blow out with his coat. He has crimped undercoat "slightly curly” and is terrible at coming loose.So I order this. Explained to my husband that looks like of like a Ghost Buster back pack dryer thing.I bought this to blow out a coat and dry the dogs when they are wet.First it came packaged fine. Came with 3 attachments and solid comb and hand mitt.I took the attachments and used the longer flat one first on "no heat” and it did ok. When we switched to the round smaller nozzle and did swirly moves it blew his coat EVERYWHERE! Like a snow storm hit our front yard! So we start busting out as much as we can so the landscapers can clean it up.It flew all over. So. make sure if you are blowing coats to do it outside.The heat setting is very hot. So be prepared as even the no heat felt warm. I feel it would do very well after a bath.Side note, the filter section in the back of the unit comes off back very easy and is easy to clean. We had to clear it two times while blowing his coat and it sucked the loose hair in the back.Good buy so far.
