Review on 🏠 Gradient Catalytic Home Master HMF2SMGCC by Jarom Bulles

Great product for kitchen and bathroom fixtures

I hate monologues but here it is. I live in Kansas and the city water tastes pretty bad. You can actually see the undissolved solids floating in the water. My parents spent thousands of dollars on the Culligan men's style system and it seemed like a complete rip off so I didn't want to go there with my purchase. I first bought a three filter under the kitchen sink reverse osmosis system from Menards about three years ago and installed one of those single filter systems from the same shop in the main line. The main line filter was leaking at the threads (tried twisting, sealant etc), the reverse osmosis filter was leaking in the tank (tried the same thing), the wash block filters were expensive for the small amount of clean water they produced, the system couldn't meet the needs Don't cover drinking water. For example, it produces three glasses of water and then slows down to one drop. After two years I removed the entire home filter because it was leaking at both the threads and o-ring and also because I didn't feel it really improved the quality of our non-potable water that much. The week before Christmas 2016, my wife mentioned that she needed a new water filtration system that could keep up with our family of 6. I liked this idea because it also meant I could hire my handyman. So, like any other man, I pulled out my phone and started looking for reliable solutions to filter the whole house. I was skeptical of Home Master at first because it sounded like a generic name, but the reviews on every website I visited were solid. I also considered Rhino, Ispring and Pelican, Home Master seemed to suit my type of water issue and was cheaper. That's why I ordered the system. People said it was going to be big and it is. These are quality filters. Installation was quick (30 minutes) and easy. SAVE TIME AND MONEY = Put the fittings on (no soldering required!) They are AMAZING. Disconnect the main line, cut the pipe with a pipe cutter ($15) after the shut off valve, put on the first fitting and install the loop, valves and bypass line with a pair of PEX hoses (get a Pair of PEX hoses) . Schneider, another $15). The increase in assembly costs is negligible compared to the peace of mind of not having to worry about how good your soldering skills are. The mount must be attached to a post, concrete, cinder block or stone, NOT drywall! I don't know how much the setup weighs when wet, but when dry it's heavy and you don't want it to fall over. Anyone can do it with connectors, seriously. Then make sure you LUBRICATE those o-rings REALLY well, use all the tubing provided! Insert the filters into the housing and screw the housing into the manifold bracket. Turn on. The manual says if you let the water run for about 15 minutes you will think you did something wrong because the water will look awful. After 15 minutes it cleared and was drinkable. We no longer have a reverse osmosis system under the sink. Our water tastes great and is very clean. Our plates, glasses and cutlery are clean. AND NO leaks. Replacing the filter costs the same as a reverse osmosis system, and in return we get clean water from any tap, not just one, and as much as we can drink. The only downside I've found with the system is that the water pressure drops about 15 pounds when our kids take a bath. We don't have much water pressure anyway, so it's probably worse for us than others, and we get along fine. I feel the quality of the product was excellent, we are all very happy with the results and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a solution. If you have a well, get a three-filter system.
