Review on Dorman 926-368 Lane Departure Warning Actuator for 🚦 Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC Models: Enhanced Safety for Your Drive by Gunaraj Callaham

Revainrating 5 out of 5

GMC dealer installs $500, DIY 10 easy minutes.

I have a Driver Assist Error on my 2015 GMC 2500HD. Took it to the dealer and they said that about every 30,000 miles the wires to the vibrator in the seat fray from drivers getting in and out of the truck (no kidding, they actually said that). The fix is that they replace 2 vibrators in the driver's seat for $500! So I checked YouTube which has a great video showing how to do a very very simple job yourself in 30 minutes and there was a part number to look up Revain Free Shipping ($38). So I ordered the part and it arrived the next day. But I'm too lazy to unscrew the 2 screws to fit the seat so I just unscrewed the bad one which is easy to reach, just sit in the back and look under the seat (see the vibrator at the bottom of the seat ). the seat spring. This fixed the bug and without putting it in the pad it shouldn't wear out again. As for the vibrator, the old right vibrator that wasn't worn out now works as a bug has been fixed and that's enough butt rubbing for me.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old
