For many years I was annoyed by the sun while cycling. Visors that fit helmets are usually useless to protect your eyes from the sun if there is any angle. Even conventional cycling caps with a narrow brim don't help at all in the morning or afternoon sun. I've tried regular baseball caps, but they were too bulky to fit comfortably under my helmet or make things uncomfortably tight. I thought with thinner material and nice long and wide brims this might be what I was looking for and it works. GREAT. The slim beanie with nice sweat-wicking band is perfect for my big head (hat size 7-1/2) and has enough space as the buckled adjustable strap at the back gives plenty of room to adjust. This in itself is a huge improvement over any "real" cycling cap I've ever used - they inevitably only have elastic, which wears out quickly. It fits right under my helmet and the brim looks like it's built in and offers tremendous protection for your eyes. Bear in mind that they will not be available in the future. A beautifully made hat is exactly what I have been looking for for many years. And that for an extra $10!
